Emergency aid for Kurds in north-eastern Syria — aid parcels from the Rozia Foundation

In early 2026, violence flared up again in north-eastern Syria. Tens of thousands of people fled, most of them women and children, without food, clean water or a safe roof over their heads. Together with a local partner, the Rozia Foundation provided emergency aid to Kurds and other affected families.

Our emergency aid to the Kurds

Over the course of three distribution rounds, we handed out food parcels, hygiene kits and hot meals in Al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor to anyone in need, regardless of their background or faith: Kurds, Arabs and Christians, displaced families and host families who opened their doors to them.

The need remains great, and our work continues. Guided by our faith, we continue to stand by these families, offering practical help, hope for recovery, and by standing up for their rights all the way to the House of Representatives.

With €150 you can provide one family with food and basic necessities for a month. Your donation makes a difference.
