Section 2
Objective.
Following the example of Christ, we stand up for the Kurds. We meet their physical and spiritual needs by sharing the gospel and offering practical help. We represent and strengthen the growing community of Kurdish Christians, so that they in turn can serve others in word and deed.
Our mission takes shape in three pillars:
Gospel and testimony
We share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Kurdish language through digital channels, such as podcasts, videos, articles and social media.
Help and mercy
We offer practical help to Kurds in need, working with local partners and regardless of ethnic or religious background.
Justice and righteousness
We stand up for religious freedom and for the rights of persecuted Kurdish Christians, based on the biblical principle of justice and righteousness.

Rozia Foundation was founded in 2024 by Zmnako Karem and Shaho Hawrami, both Kurdish-Dutch Christians.
Section 5
Remuneration policy.
100% unpaid board
The board of Rozia Foundation is entirely unpaid. Board members receive no remuneration for their work. Expenses incurred can be claimed on the basis of a receipt and must always be approved by a board member other than the one who incurred them.
The director currently works on a voluntary basis. Volunteers receive no payment other than the volunteer allowance permitted by law. Expenditure above €500 requires approval from more than one board member (four-eyes principle).
Section 6
Raising and spending funds.
Rozia Foundation raises income from gifts by private donors, contributions from churches and congregations, and grants from funds and organisations. Funds are used to pursue the foundation’s objective. Management costs are in reasonable proportion to expenditure, and the board oversees this.
Rozia Foundation does not hold more assets than are reasonably needed to ensure the continuity of its work. If the foundation is dissolved, any remaining positive balance will be spent on an ANBI with a similar objective.

2024 activity report.
In our first financial year (18 January to 31 December 2024) we laid the foundations for our three pillars:
Founding and governance
Formal incorporation before a notary, setting up the governance structure, first meetings and adoption of a vision document.
Website and platforms
Launch of the bilingual roziafoundation.com and the Kurdish-language platform hiwabokurd.com (articles, Jesus films, podcasts, Bible PDF).
Online mission
More than 1,000,000 views on Facebook, ~24,000 people reached via Instagram, ~1,000 downloads of the Bible in Kurdish.

Three project proposals drawn up for fundraising, focused on the three pillars.
